I don't think that they hunted people! :) You are not a buffalo, so I think you would have been safe. I do agree that maybe you think it might have been a bit more dangerous during that time. I will agree with that!

I also agree with you! I think I would prefer a lodge over a teepee! The lodge seems more stable and secure!
